These home offices may function as viewing suites as well when showing
potential tenants the buildings, since they will be in the participating properties.
Maybe, a street office for drop-ins and an apartment for those making the
transition from the shelters or the streets, while waiting for approvals.

PROCEDURES

* Shelter or street drop-in Housing Workers call CASA P.O.W. Agency and
refer their clients as potential Tenants.
* Clients sometimes call directly after seeing our posted flyers or presentation.
* Agency invites client/potential Tenant to view rental spaces.
* Client decides to be a Tenant and Agency or Property fills rental application.
* If potential Tenant needs a Co-Tenant, Agency finds one.
* Agency or Property calls clients Case Worker and faxes Rental Information form.
* Case Worker approves first and last months rent cheques and calls Agency or Property.
* Client either picks up first cheque or Case Worker mails them directly and
subsequent monthly rent to Property.
* Tenants move in.
* Property Lease of 1 year is signed.
* Agency Agreement is signed and placement fee is paid.
* If there are any problems, either Tenant or Property notifies Agency.
* Agency mediates and offers solutions to maintain tenancy.
* If a major legal dispute arises, Agency refers its Legal Associate to
represent both Tenant and Property, also to retain tenancy if possible.
* If unsresolved, a replacement Tenant or Space is found by Agency.
